Towels. I’m talking towels. Three kids sharing a bathroom can be problematic, especially when one of them is a girl who never ever ever wants to mistakenly use one of her brothers’ yucky towels. Got some towels at Restoration Hardware (at the “friends and family” sale offered a couple times a year), then strolled down the mall to the embroidery kiosk and for minimal cost, had them do this…
…did I mention that “number one” leaves for college soon? I have extra towels beyond 1, 2 and 3 for sleepover guests (towels that don’t have all the nasty benzyl peroxide stains that are inevitable with teenagers). I was inspired by Martha to do this as well (except mine are dark brown which works just as well)…
My friend, Donna, also came up with a great idea – different color towels for each kid and extra colors for guests (hope to post some pics of her very colorful kids’ bathroom!). Easy, inexpensive ideas to help keep the bathroom running smoothly…stay clean!

Funny, I just got new towels for the kidlets and have them ready to take to….the embroidery place at the mall! I was going to put their names on it in fonts that match their personalities.
