Went to my son’s parent weekend – enjoyed a slice of college life and explored this wonderfully diverse campus. The best ice cream (reputedly in the whole state) is here and it lived up to its name…

Walked around campus, enjoying the older architecture and the modern art museum (no pictures allowed there)…

…from there we explored a festival on the campus main drag – heard some great jazz (I may or may not be related to the drummer)…

…saw some fun booths (particularly loved the reuse of plates and candlesticks)…

…and LOVED the vignettes in this vintage store…

Made me long for that creative, funky college vibe but mostly just happy that my son’s so happy and relieved to get a hug after five weeks.
